The job

As Commercial Director of Education, it will be your responsibility to set and implement a clear strategic direction for how the company develops as an invaluable tool in generating quality prospects to our partners in the Higher Education sector.

The role would be a great fit for a university-based Director of Marketing or Director of Student Recruitment looking to build on their experience in Higher Education to develop a brand and team that is sector-leading.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of generating, acquiring or handling leads within a Higher Education environment. Experience within a commercial environment would also be advantageous as you will be tasked with driving the growth of the department and developing relationships with partners.

The responsibilities

Creating and implementing a robust, commercially-effective product strategy for The Study Network.  Working with department heads and their teams to make The Study Network an inspiring, educational and valuable service.

  • Leading on all new business development for The Study Network
  • Building relationships with current and prospective partners within the Higher Education sector
  • Growing the profile of The Study Network within the Higher Education sector

The skills

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education sector
  • Experience of implementing a commercially-successful product strategy and business plan
  • Experience of driving commercial growth through sales and business development
  • Experience of managing and leading teams, preferably in a Higher Education environment
  • Ambition and energy to take on a new challenge and drive positive change within the organisation
