The job

You will be joining The Lead Agency’s platform development team who have responsibility for all the systems that power our revolutionary lead processing and distribution systems along with sales process.

You will be a core member of the Dynamics CRM project, bringing your experience of Dynamics to help us implement this technology into the business. Working with a skilled internal team and external consultant, you will help to shape the project, gather requirements, build functionality within Dynamics and also work on the supporting TLA’s bespoke services and systems.

The TLA business is growing quickly and expanding into new markets but also works within the rapidly evolving world of digital marketing. The CRM system and supporting services provide the foundation of the new lead generation platform and this work is therefore receiving the highest priority and attention. Longer term, the plan is to roll out Dynamics across all business departments and then continuously evolve and advance the implementation as required.

You will be involved at all stages of our product development, working with the business to shape our CRM solution. TLA embrace the latest technologies and you will have the chance to work and gain experience across a range of tech and tools in addition to Dynamics CRM:

  • .NET Core & MVC
  • Azure
  • Twilio (for telephony systems)
  • SignalR
  • Caching systems such as Redis
  • ServiceBus
  • Typescript and Javascript frameworks
  • NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cosmos.

You will report directly to the Platform Development Manager, contributing to applying the methodology, approach and processes we use across the wider development team.

The responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to develop the CRM solution required for TLA’s cutting edge lead generation platform. TLA expect their staff to contribute ideas and develop a passion for the products they work on meaning you will have significant input into the direction of these technical solutions.

You will be involved at all stages of the development lifecycle and will need to collaborate with internal stakeholders and other teams on a daily basis – so we’re not looking for someone who wants to hide away behind their screens!

We’re not a large corporate and, while we have strict process and standards, we try hard to maintain a smaller business culture and approach as this allows us to maintain the dynamism required for the rapidly evolving market we work in.

The following are the minimum specific requirements for this role:

  • Currently in a Dynamics CRM development role
  • At least 3 years’ commercial experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Technical experience working with
    • .Net Core/WebAPI development
    • SQL Server
    • Cloud services such as Azure
  • Minimum 2nd class degree in computer science, mathematics or other science based subject

The following would be beneficial:

  • Any experience with contact centre telephony solutions or phone systems such as Twilio
