The job

You will be the face of the Car Keys channel both from a content, journalistic and PR perspective but also from a video and YouTube perspective. Your job will be to continue the great work already made in making Car Keys the number one household brand for car buyers across the UK.

The responsibilities

Overseeing all editorial and video duties for the Car Keys channel.

Managing and building a team of content writers, journalists and videographers.

Planning and developing content strategy balancing commercial and audience needs.

Hitting campaign metrics and performance targets resulting in continued growth of the Car Keys brand.

Creating engaging content that inspires readers and stakeholders alike.

Setting tone of voice and reflecting core values of the Car Keys brand.

Maintaining relationships with car manufacturers for booking press cars for review and attending launches and events.

Working with other teams and stakeholders to define how content fits in and aids wider agency strategies.

The skills

  • A minimum of three years in a journalistic background with a proven and demonstrable track record
  • Excellent written and editorial skills
  • A desire to front video reviews and content on YouTube
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with good problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • An understanding of SEO and content marketing would be beneficial
  • You must be at least 25 years old with a clean driving licence: In order to be insured to drive certain vehicles, car manufacturers stipulate journalists must be at least 25 years old
