The job

You come into the business with the key objective of enabling the wider user experience team to deliver best-in-class user experience solutions across all brands, web and mobile. You should be someone who will be able to come in and affect the testing roadmap, use qualitative and quantitative data to shape where we look to improve and optimise, and to understand that tests we carry out mean much more than just changing colour of a button; we want to test larger theories.

The responsibilities

  • Organise and prioritize the testing roadmap/calendar
  • Understand business goals and create AB/multivariate testing
  • Benchmarking: optimization works best when set against a target performance outcome. We need someone comfortable identifying the right competitive benchmarks to help us establish monthly, quarterly, or annual targets for performance.
  • Extract insights from data to suggest, create and implement A/B tests that drive improvements to the customers digital experience and increase conversion rates
  • Share key web analytics insights and conversion rate improvements
  • Propose, plan, facilitate, moderate and analyse results from user research, focus groups, usability testing and competitor and market research
  • Participate in user profile definition, ethnography, persona and user case development

The skills

  • Two years’ commercial experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Analytical and curious, be interested in trends in data both in qualitative and quantitative
  • Have a keen interest in A/B testing, and to understand the cause and outcome of each test we run
  • Have an understanding digital analytics data
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with good problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
