We’re looking for someone with the drive to take our UX research onto the next level.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious user experience researcher to come in with the key objective of enabling the wider user experience team to deliver best-in-class user experience solutions across all brands, web and mobile.

We are looking for someone who will be able to come in and affect the testing roadmap, use qualitative and quantitative data to shape where we look to improve and optimise, and to understand that tests we carry out mean much more than just changing colour of a button; we want to test larger theories.

This role is a key part of a close UX and design team, you’ll also work with multiple teams from across the wider business to ensure we deliver the best UX research methods.

You’ll spend your time…
  • Propose, plan, facilitate, moderate and analyse results from user research, focus groups, usability testing and competitor and market research
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations across UX and product teams to drive informed design decisions and functionality enhancements
  • Conduct face-to-face and remote usability testing.
  • Manage user research participant recruit and/ or be the point of contact with internal and external recruiting
  • Identify opportunities and propose most suitable research methods
  • Work closely with designers on recommendations to improve the UX
  • Work closely with product owners
  • Inform and influence the broader product development teams to implement solutions that are best for the user in the context of overall business drivers, goals and vision
  • Conducting lab-based user testing, remote testing and paper prototype testing
  • Participate in user profile definition, ethnography, persona and user case development
The ideal candidate will be…
  • Analytical and curious, be interested in trends in data both in qualitative and quantitative
  • Be confident in your findings and insight and able to communicate it to the wider team
  • Have a keen interest in A/B testing, and to understand the cause and outcome of each test we run
  • Highly skilled in analysing, interpreting and shaping UX research findings in to meaningful and clear actionable insights at pace
  • Have an understanding digital analytics data
  • Able to conduct all phases of Usability Testing
  • Experience of prototyping is a plus point but not essential
