The job

The Business Development Manager role will be to find relevant education providers & universities looking to increase the volume of students for their range of courses. Prospecting for potential partners is a fundamental part of this role along with the ability to nurture and close sales. Building strong relationships with your customers to ensure a long term and mutually viable future for both parties.

The Lead Agency are a growing company specialising in lead generation within the Automotive, Property, Education and F&I fields. We offer companies high converting GDPR compliant leads. Due to continued growth, we have an immediate and exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to be based at our Liverpool office.

The responsibilities

  • Contacting Higher Education providers to offer our lead generation services.
  • Generating your own leads, contacting, nurturing and closing sales.
  • Work to stretching KPI’s to ensure department revenue/client numbers are achieved
  • Develop long lasting and stable business relationships
  • Liaising with advertising agencies as and when required.
  • Exceed all sales targets

The skills

  • Experience in media/advertising/sponsorship essential
  • Knowledge of the Education/University sector would be advantageous
  • Astute and commercially aware
  • A proven track record in B2B field sales exceeding targets/KPI’s etc
  • Resilient, money hungry and driven
  • Solid new business ability and experience
  • Account management expertise also required for repeat client revenue
  • A creative and consultative sales mentality
