The job

To provide management and leadership for a team of agents to ensure company and performance targets are met.  Ensure staff adherence to procedures and processes from a company and client perspective. Manage staff in line with company policies and develop an environment in which staff within the team constantly strive to improve individual performance and achieve their targets.

Ensure our Customer Service Operators provide excellent quality lead generation a wide range of automotive companies in a lively outbound contact centre from existing leads – never cold contacts. The team is paramount to ensuring that all customers are provided with an exceptional level of service during every interaction.

The responsibilities

You will work with and be supported by our existing team of team managers to achieve the company targets but also ensuring your team achieve their targets.

You have a degree of independence to make decisions about your team and how to get the best out of them.

Support and empower individuals and be responsible or supporting these team members through a career route to promotion.

The skills and ideal candidate

  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience of developing and performance managing teams who regularly communicate with a high volume of customers to deliver an outstanding service, ideally in a sales based contact centre.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment while ensuring a high level of Customer Service and quality is delivered to both external and internal customers.
  • Flexible in working hours.
  • Experience of supervising and motivating staff.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to identify and report any issues preventing the team doing their job to the best of their ability.
  • Maintaining a good morale throughout the day
  • Help and assist colleagues reach their target to the correct quality
  • Lead by example in terms of time keeping and behaviour on the call floor
  • Ensure budgets are delivered to the right quantity and quality
  • Coming up with new ideas to try and deliver maximum budget with limited PPC spend
  • Interviewing new starters for roles needed
  • Supporting new starters through induction and make ensure that they are trained to the correct standard required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong background as a Team Manager in a sales environment
  • Strong ability to drive a team to deliver against targets
  • Ability to ensure performance of your team is to a high standard
  • Strong communication skills
  • An ability to connect with and inspire people
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills
  • An enthusiastic, energetic, can do attitude
