The role

We are looking for a highly creative expert in user-centred, interactive experiences for mobile-first UI and UX. The primary role is to employ best practice UI/UX across all TLA websites and landing pages working closely with the CRO Specialist & Head of Digital to improve conversion rates and lead the UX elements of the product roadmaps.

The responsibilities

  • Own the UX roadmaps for all TLA websites, landing pages and white label products
  • 20% improvement in conversion rates across all pages
  • Line management and development of Junior Designer
  • Ensure best practice UI/UX design at all times
  • Multi-channel campaign creative
  • Oversee and approve the creation of all wireframes, prototypes, user flow diagrams and interaction designs
  • Manage all forms of requirement gathering, user research and usability testing, ensuring the best methods are selected for each project and client
  • Obsess about optimisation
  • Manage and scale product design systems to ensure a cohesive testing environment
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Development teams, to define briefs and ensure optimal design output

The skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional UX design role, on top of further digital design experience
  • Expertise in UI/UX software such as InVision, UXPin, SketchApp, Adobe CC – we are flexible to your preferences
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
  • Testing and optimisation experience with an obsession for optimising consumer journeys
  • Up to date knowledge of user-centred design and best practice
  • A strategic approach to design; able to balance user needs, business challenges, technical considerations and market opportunities, to steer design direction
  • Strong team and project management skills
  • Extensive experience with responsive and mobile UX
  • Excellent communication skills, with disciplined documentation to ensure knowledge is shared across teams
