The Job

The Lead Agency, one of the fastest growing tech businesses in the UK, is looking to make a major hire, taking on an experienced and exceptional product manager to head up their ad-tech product suite. The role is being created due to the business growth and significant advances in this area.

The Lead Agency work across the world of digital media and harness their bespoke ad-tech and blockchain based customer acquisition platform to engage with consumers and connect them with brands. Our work to expand into new verticals and markets is putting ever more focus on our programmatic ad-tech play and this has resulted in the need for a dedicated ad-tech product manager.

The role will be both demanding and rewarding as we invest heavily in this area of our work.  It will involve managing and working with our private network of publishers and also continuing our integration into the wider ad-tech ecosystem to enable global consumer targeting.

The role requires an experienced product manager or owner with background in the ad-tech world. We are looking for someone who understands the ad-tech ecosystem thoroughly having worked with programmatic display activity and DSPs such as AppNexus, the Trade Desk. You need to understand both user and contextual targeting opportunities and have experience buying inventory   for performance campaigns. We will expect you to understand delivery mechanisms and restrictions and be able to discuss industry issues such as ad-fraud, regulation and tracking restrictions at a detailed level.

The Responsibilities

You will be focused on all areas of the product, from commercial and strategic relationships through to product development and evolution. You will be the owner of all ad-tech activity for TLA and take full responsibility for this area of the business but closely supported by tech and marketing teams as required.

You will be expected to:

  • Own the ad-tech product roadmap, providing clear requirements and instruction to the production teams to ensure it’s continuous evolution.
  • Oversee product delivery, leading internal stakeholder groups to deliver against requirements.
  • Attend and present at client meetings and evangelise TLA’s ad-tech products
  • Manage all private publisher relationships, ensuring continued revenue delivery aligned with their expectations.
  • Build and manage strategic partner relationships where required
  • Maintain current knowledge of all ad-tech related regulatory changes and projected changes, ensuring the product roadmap is aligned with these.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the ad-tech ecosystem, building and maintaining relationships to assist with this goal.
  • Create and maintain product documentation.
The Skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience as product management/owner of an ad-tech or mar-tech product.
  • Digital marketing or technology background
  • Thorough knowledge of the media, ad-tech and mar-tech landscapes and associated tech such as DSPs, DMPs an SSPs.
  • An innovator with creative flair and good understanding of UX and CRO.
  • An influencer with excellent communication skills
  • An achiever, someone who thrives on hard work and delivery against their goals
  • A passion to learn and continuously improve
  • You will be educated to degree level as a minimum.
