Performance Analyst
The Job

A fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to join The Lead Agency in the role of Performance Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Data Insight, the role will focus on monitoring and optimising performance across the business by seeking out efficiencies and driving effective operations.  You will work closely with all teams across the business, including development, digital and contact centre, ensuring the technology and procedures in place are working optimally for the business.

A natural innovator with a passion for efficiency and performance, you will thoroughly investigate performance issues and champion solutions that enhance our processes. Your logical and insight-driven approach will enable you to analyse trends and changes in business KPIs and to devise solutions that support business growth. You will live at the intersection of the digital and sales/contact centre teams, ensuring our processes and activities are aligned to drive revenue generation and minimise waste.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, development and sales processes, as well as experience of driving performance with data.

The Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the business KPIs
  • Reporting on business performance to senior management on at least a weekly basis.
  • Continually analysing lead generation and handling processes across the business teams, seeking out optimisation and efficiency opportunities.
  • Working with data from a variety of sources – including marketing, operational and financial – to identify, analyse and report on trends within the business and market.
  • Thoroughly investigate potential issues within the business using statistical analysis.
  • Building and maintaining data models that guide business activities, including marketing spend and commercials.
  • Deriving process solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs and increase revenues.
  • Working closely with stakeholders from around the business, every day, to drive performance.
  • Effectively communicating complex concepts to senior management and others.
The Skills
  • 2 years’ experience in an analytical or data insight role
  • Intermediate-level SQL skills
  • Expert-level Excel skills
  • Data-driven and fuelled by insight
  • A thorough understanding of digital marketing processes
  • Technically-minded, with an interest in working with cutting-edge technology
  • Obsessed with efficiency and process optimisation
  • Commercially-savvy
  • Unafraid to challenge the status quo
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to autonomously work with senior stakeholders
  • Great team worker, able to influence and promote change
  • Passionate about the detail
  • Experience of BI reporting systems – such as QlikView or PowerBI – would be beneficial
